Alumni Board
The University of the Incarnate Word has re-established an Alumni Association Board of Directors. The board was selected from a group of qualified alumni to serve as the first board in more than 20 years. The 21-member board met for the first time Friday, July 27 at the Brackenridge Villa for a day-long retreat.
Members of the Board of Directors are selected to hold positions based on demonstrated involvement, support and commitment to the University of the Incarnate Word. Members serve in an advisory and advocacy capacity on behalf of the university and when possible, represent the university and the association at alumni activities, events and programs.
The UIW Alumni Association board consists of seven committees to best serve the association. They are: alumni network committee, awards committee, executive committee, homecoming/reunion committee, nominating committee, phone-a-thon committee and young alumni committee. The board is excited about the future of the Alumni Association and is ready to serve you.
