UIW’s College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) welcomes Dr. Jeff Crane as the new associate dean. Crane has taught history at Sam Houston State, Western Illinois University as well as Culver-Stockton College and Columbia College in Missouri. He earned his BA in American studies from The Evergreen State College and his MA and Ph.D. in history from Washington State University. Crane’s research and teaching interests are in American Environmental History and the American West.
