On Feb. 6, UIW’s International Affairs Office hosted a presentation by Liao titled, “Understanding Taiwan: A look into the global position of Taiwan.” In his presentation, Liao outlined the current position of Taiwan, with an eye to the future, focusing on many relevant cultural, political and economic considerations.
